General problems
It is necessary to support two legacy application for Global Tax Engine (GTE). One applications is called Tax Hub and the other is Tax Bridge. The Financial Systems used the legacy application GTE to calculate taxes for services and product sales. The technical contact for this application was leaving the company and I received the responsibility of maintaining the GTE. I received the project documentations and started to study them. The knowledge transfer period was short because the application contact left company after one week.
