I helped writing the document containing the understanding of the new factory to be built, the description of the technical solution that I presented during the meetings and the analysis of the effort necessary to adapt each module from the PPS project to provide the requirements of the new plant. -
I created a presentation in Power Point containing the description of the connectivity between the graphical interface that could be implemented in Swing and the existent system in Mainframe. I described which software should have it's version upgraded to allow the connectivity with the graphical interface. I described the strategy of implementation of programs inside Mainframe that would act as a bridge between the graphic interface and the programs already existent. I described the need for automatic updates and the implementation support through a help-desk. | | | |
