Development of a system to control software licenses

 

Execution

Several meetings were conducted with department´s technicians and customer to identify the system requirements, study of the existent systems used to control the customer?s assets and products that were used to collect information of the software installed in each equipment of the customer.

The architecture and characteristics of the system to be developed was identified. The system had to be accessed through intranet, comply with the customer standards provide the requested functionalities.

An analysis was done regarding the number and qualification of the professionals necessary to implement the system. With this information it was possible to create the project schedule and fill out the departmental controls of cost recovery procedures.

Meeting with the responsible department manager were done to show the projects costs, aspects of the system to be developed and the project schedule. The management authorized the beginning of the project.

Requests were done to companies partners in order to provide professionals resumes. Soon afterwards, interviews were done and the approved candidates were contacted.

The project started and unit tests were carry out.

Some prototypes were presented before of the final delivery of the application and installation on the target servers.
